I was recently elected to the Shepherd Park Elementary School Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) as a community representative. I plan on keeping this blog to communicate with other members of the Shepherd Park community to bring all of our collective knowledge, power and voice to our neighborhood school. What can we do to make sure that our local elementary school is in tune with our community? What can we bring to the school as individuals? As a community? What resources can we draw upon? What do you think?
